New Maruti Swift will have awesome mileage 20+

Suzuki Swift Hatchback

Maruti celebrated the production of 10 lakh K-Series engines running on road. The K-Series engine will be used are the 1.2 Liter unit with dual VVT (variable valve timing) is a technology that will be soon used by petrol engines worldwide to improve both performance as well as fuel efficiency. Dual VVT technology making it to the 1.2 Liter engine of the new Swift Petrol, that is all set to be launched in August this year. The engine uses variable valve technology for both the intake as well as the exhaust valves, thus pushing the maximum power output by 10 Bhp, to 90 Bhp, even as fuel economy improves.

The swift 1.2 Liter, 90 Bhp engine would be good for a breathtaking 20 KMPL fuel average. If the new Swift manages an ARAI certified fuel economy figure of 20 KMPL, that would make the car the most fuel efficient B segment hatchback in the country, bettering the 18 KMPL+ figure that Toyota claims for the Etios Liva. the new Swifts will feature plastic fuel tanks that are 25-35% lighter than the conventional metal fuel tanks. This also is set to aid fuel economy as overall weight of the car decreases with a lighter fuel tank. Maruti estimates the fuel economy gain to be a whopping 15%  due to the new fuel tanks alone.

The 1.3 Multijet diesel engine gives 23.8 KMPL mileage figure which is outstanding and mind blowing. Also, there are rumours the Swift Petrol getting a 4 speed automatic transmission, which will compete with other automatic cars in the segment is the Hyundai i20.

Interior
Interior Minister was faced with a car and the only significant difference is that the two-tone instrument panel was introduced to replace the old interior. Maruti has also changed some parts that are not as good as it gets the goal is to provide a low cost of the vehicle. The interior has a few surprises, such as airbags, electric mirrors, auto-down feature window seat and the passenger compartment of the light will remain until the key is added to it. Most of these features are expected only in expensive cars.

Engine
The new model comes with a Style Maruti 998 cc K series engine This is an improvement over the old engine, which allows the recovery of the vehicle and the driver just like you. However, it is a little irritating that the car stopped to pick up the clutch in first gear, which can be offset by providing more gas. The engine is solid, smooth and eager to perform. The car is 15.8 seconds to pick up speed of 100 km. The output of three-cylinder vibrates the car, but only when it is inactive. Furthermore, the gear has been improved.

Ride and Handling
The suspension is the car Maruti makes strong driving style. The car is stable, however, could destabilize the rough roads. Bumpy surfaces are adequately covered in the areas of the city easily. The administration is not so good and gives absolutely no response, but it's great for use with tires that have been in the car.

The car is powered by a small, but powerful enough and a stylish interior with an exterior that defines a good impression on a person to see. There are a number of security features included with the ABS and airbags popular for front passengers. Apart from that the car comes with safety lock as well.

Maruti Suzuki SX4 diesel spy pics leaked

The car spotted is a demo car with decals all around. The DDiS and ZDi badge can be clearly seen, differentiating it from the petrol sibling. Apart from the badges, there are no visible changes to the exteriors that separate the diesel from the petrol. The mid-size Maruti saloon will use the same Fiat-sourced 90bhp, 1.3 Multi-jet diesel, that powers the Linea and the refreshed Tata Manza. While the SX4 hatchback in Europe uses Fiat’s 1.9 diesel engines, for India, the 1.3 Multi-jet was considered a more practical choice as it is essentially the same base engine as the one in the Swift and Dzire but with a Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT). Diesel SX4 is expected to cost around Rs 70,000 more than the existing petrol version.
